The Elements That Speak

Water says,
I flow through this world
Not a care in the world
I can be a sold, liquid, or gas
But still free as I was last.

Fire says,
I am the creator,
I am the destroyer,
As I created this world for all to live on,
I can destroy it faster.

Air says,
I am what you breathe in on a warm summer day,
I am a hurricane waiting to happen
You can’t live with me,
But you can’t live without me.

Earth says,
You love me,
You hate me,
You protect me,
You’re destroying me.

Soul says,
I want to swim,
I want to fly,
I burn within you,
I’m buried within you.

Beauty and Her Friends

 She has eyes like auburn,
And long hair like dark chocolate.
She dances in the mid-summer sun,
With a smile on her face.
July is Beauty’s favorite month.
She hangs out with Trust and Caution.
Beauty loves her friends no matter what.

Anger of the Gods

Miyuki is a 17 year-old graceful god of ravens that only wants to soar in the clear skies.
Miyuki is angry at the Gods, because he’s trapped in a female human body and had his wings taken away until he mad a difference in the world.
Miyuki was in raged by the Gods decision to trap him in a humans body all these years just to make some difference in the world, but what the Gods had talked with his grandmother Morrian the great Goddess of Ravens, Crows and the battle field, was to teach the young God to become the true God of Ravens.

The Little Girl with the Red Ribbon

There once was a little girl named Lillith Steltella Summers. She had her light blonde hair pulled back into a red pirate ribbon given to her mommy. Lillith sat on a swing with her lunch. As she ate her chicken salad a little boy ran over and pushed her off the swing, then started laughed at her. She got off the ground and tackled the boy. Aden, her brother ran over and pulled her off of the boy and picked up her lunch box and took her to the nurse to get her cuts cleaned out. Lillith didn’t look sad, she looked proud.
Lillith sat in the office with her brother and the boy, until her other mother walked in. Lillith jumped up out off her set into her mothers arms.
“Sweetie, what happen to you?” Their mother exclaimed.
Aden got up and told her everything.
“Well you got her off before she did any damage, so that’s good. I would have done worse at your age… Wait, I did.” Their mother laughed.
“Ms. Summers, can you please come into my office.” The principal asked.
Their mother put Lillith down and walked into the office and shut the door.
The boy started to throw paperclips at Lillith and she went to jump out of her set but Aden held her down in her seat. Lillith yelled at him to stop, their mother walked out of principal’s office and picked up her daughter and walked over to check them out. They walked out to the car.
“Let’s go get some ice cream.” Their mother smiled.
She always knew what to say.

Wind

Wind…

I fly high into the sky with my wings out stretched.
I touch the soft fluffy clouds filled with rain that will soon cry out until there is nothing left.

Wind…

I awake in my room on my bed looking at the ceiling with my blankets thrown off and the win howling at my window begging to be let in.

Wind…

I get off my bed and open it to let the wind race into my room to carry me back to my bed and send me into a good nights rest.

My Mother and My Name

Catlin,
It’s like the whispering wind calling me home. The wind kissing me softly as it carries the smell of the freshly cut grass. My mother sits on a swing under a cherry tree that is freshly in bloom, reading a book in the sweet spring. Her long curly brunette hair in a long tight braid down her back as she watches my brother Cory running around the freshly cut grass and every so often running up to ask if he could rub her already rounding belly.
“Mommy, what is my sissies name going to be?” Cory asks as he rubs her belly again.
“I don’t know Cory, but you will be the first to know.” As our mother pats his head before he runs off again to play in the sweet spring wind, under the clear blue skies. She smiles as he runs around in the grass. She looks back down at her book to continue to read as she runs across a name she will never forget…

The wind whispers again
Catlin…

Here

I am Here
I wonder what tomorrow brings
I hear the wind calling me
I see the seasons changing
I want to follow the wind

I am There
I pretend to be here
I feel pain
I touch where it hurts
I worry about the pain
I cry alone

I am Somewhere
I understand where I need to be
I say I will be, eventually
I try to do as told
I hope for the day that sets me free…
